The gear ratio on the reel is 6.3:1, ensuring it can competently handle those distances casts that you’re able to achieve and is able to drag in an impressive amount of line with each handle turn. The whole reel is aided by four ball bearings, which work to preserve the life of the reel and reduce friction within the internal mechanisms.
