MAKE YOURSELF COMFORTABLE - We take a close look at the Trakker guest chairs that will make even the most discerning of guests comfortable!

The two products that we’re going to focus on here, though, are the Levelite Longback and RLX Combi chair. Put bluntly, if you’re not comfortable you’ll be much more likely to bail when it gets cold, so if you’re planning to get out there soon, you’ll want to take a closer look at these babies.

Extra comfort means extra weight, right? You’d think so, but not with these two. They’re both ridiculously well padded and strong but, thanks to their aluminium construction, they’re light too – the Longback is 4.1kg and the RLX Combi is 4.7kg. Further good news is that they fold flat for admirably compact storage: you’ll hardly notice them in the boot!

Any clever features? Yep, they’re packed with ‘em! Let’s start with the Longback. Its novel design means that there’s much more support for your neck and shoulders, and the longer legs make it super-easy to get in and out of, and give you a comfortable, elevated position. The legs can be adjusted with one hand, thanks to the one-touch button system and adjustable, quick-release clips allow the folded chair to be clipped shut for transit (a clever addition that allows you to carry essentials around in the chair too).

The RLX Combi padded cover can be removed entirely to reveal a waterproof mesh fabric base that drains freely and is quick-drying. That means that you can pop the mattress off and leave the chair out overnight should you so wish, without it getting waterlogged. You can even sit on the mesh chair in dripping waders because the mesh soon dries and reattaching the padded cover is the work of a moment.

Okay, I get the Longback, but what’s the Combi name about? The RLX Combi gets its name from a truly versatile leg configuration. It can be used as a ‘slouch-style’ low chair (perfect for sloping banks) with the rear extension folded up, or as a standard guest chair with the extension deployed. It doubles as a bedchair seat with the extension stowed, to save your back when you’re working on the bed. Just perch the short rear bar on the edge of your bed and you’re away.

The big question: just how comfortable are they? The answer is a predictable, very. This is in the most part due to the incredibly thick padding that both chairs enjoy. That’s not all though. The placement and type of padding is cleverly arranged to give perfectly ergonomic fitting with the human body. Each contour has been sculpted to cradle, support and cushion where it needs to. Your guests will love you for it!
