Our stock admin manager Michael Stewart has recently been making the most of the hot weather, taking his current syndicate water apart, with his surface fishing approach.

Michael, who has been fishing a mixture of dog biscuits, expander pellets and cut down pop-ups, all glugged in the CC Moore Salmon Oil, has landed a stunning string of specimens over 20lb.

Just this weekend he managed eight fish from the surface, topped by a rather stunning ghost/koi carp which pulled the scales round to a few ounces over 16lb.Successful tackle has included a Greys Surface Stalking Rod matched with a Daiwa SS52600 reel, 10lb Drennan Supplex mainline and a 10lb Drennan Double strength hook link, at the business Michael has been using the ESP Big T hooks in a size 8.
