Lightweight for a large arbour reel, this reel is only 125g despite being 100mm rim to rim. The reel uses a quick release mechanism to allow for a little play between the spool and the body of the reel. The spool release is discrete but easy to use and thanks to the exposed spool rim you have expert precision control over your reel. Machined to perfection, this reel is incredibly smooth to the touch. The Lochmor SLA is extremely well balanced, thanks to the wooden handle which acts as a perfect counterweight. This reel would sit well on a variety of excellent rods to create a balanced outfit which is a pleasure to fish with.
The Lochmor SLA has a smooth disc drag system which is easily adjustable via the use of the drag knob, allowing for incremental changes to the drag as you’re using the reel. The drag housing is flush, ensuring that no grit gets into the system and preventing premature wear and tear. Winding direct is easily changed by reversing the clutch in the spool body. In short, this reel is a dream to use and performs to the quality you’d expect from a Daiwa reel.

Return of goods & Refunds
