This is the combination Spod ‘n’ Marker rod in the range. A hybrid rod, its 12ft of length allows you to feature find across a wide spectrum of the UK’s finest carp venues. In fact, you can cast in excess of 150 yards comfortably with this rod. This length is supported by an impressive 4.25lb test curve, ensuring it has more than enough backbone to cope with the repeated chucking of heavy spods. For the angler who likes to travel light and would rather not take additional rods along to the bank but who still wants to be able to fish effectively then this is the perfect solution.
This rod is a joy to use thanks to its high grade blank. Offering a medium profile with a high diameter butt configuration – in order to cope with the stress of spod casting – this rod has been fitted with a Fuji DPS reel seat. This ensures your reel is locked in tight and this rod balances perfectly with a number of the spod reels in Daiwa’s reel range.
