The first thing you will notice about the Fox Horizon XT Landing Net is that it is supplied with two different handle options. The first is a standard 6ft handle. This is often considered to be the crème de la crème of landing net handle sizes for general carp fishingas it allows you to tackle a wide variety of waters with ease. The second handle is half the size, coming in at 3ft. This is perfect for use when you’re fishing for a boat and ensures that the net is versatile enough to be used for a variety of predator fishingpurposes, too. What’s more, if you’re an angler who likes to be able to remain mobile on the bank, this smaller net handle option is ideal for you. Innovatively, these two landing net handles can be joined together to create a super long 9ft handle. This is where the net really comes into its own, as a longer landing net handle is essential when you’re fishing with 13ft carp rods, when you’re fishing with a zig rig terminal tackle setup, or when you’re tackling high or snaggy waters.
Both the handles with the Fox Horizon XT Landing Net are finished with a 1k carbon weave and have shrink wrap grips on the butt section. The spreader block is constructed from machined aluminium and the carbon arms feature aluminium spigots on their base. The mesh of the Fox Horizon XT Landing Net is incredibly soft, which ensures that it is completely fish safe, too. The net is supplied with 42 inch arms, allowing you to target the largest fish that the UK has to offer.
