Description

Shimano Tribal Carp Floater, This new model has been designed for carp anglers fishing surface baits, when lighter casting weights are used and a quick strike is often required to hook the fish. Built on 100 HPC carbon blanks, the Tribal Carp Floater comes in two models. Both are the same length and test curve, but the Longcast (TLCFL model) version has a different blend of carbons for increased casting performance. The relatively soft test curves are perfect for close range work or when using small hooks to fool wary surface feeding carp. High Pressure Carbon: During the heating process of any rod or pole the resin can be pushed to the surface of the blank which may cause an uneven distribution, resulting in weak spots. With High Pressure Carbon (HPC), pressure is applied to the blank during the heating process, forcing the resin to remain inside and ensuring an even spread. The result is amazing, creating a blank which can be up to 40% stronger than blanks made without HPC. Biofibre: Adding Biofibre reinforces the carbon fibres in all directions. This gives outstanding strength, shock resistance, lightness and power.
