This reel is available in four sizes. The smallest 2000 size is the ideal drop shotting reel and makes the perfect opponent to a feisty perch. The medium 3000 and 4000 sizes have been designed for all your mid range and mid sized lure fishing and are ideal for use in a number of scenarios up and down the country. The largest 5000 size is a gutsy reel which allows you to tackle the most aggressive predators the UK has to offer with confidence.
The Sonik AVX is an exceptionally smooth operating reel, thanks to the six stainless steel ball bearings at work in the body of the reel. Stainless steel features heavily in the reel due to its durability and the worm shaft is also constructed from the material to ensure it is able to offer a good service throughout its lifespan. To maintain the light weight of the reel, the body is constructed from a specially designed composite material. This has been chosen for its rigidity as well as its feather weight. The reel has been fitted with Instant Anti-Reverse, which ensures solid hooksets each time, and the Sonik AVX is a front drag reel. The two smaller sizes of the reel offer a 5.1:1 gear ratio and the two larger sizes provide an impressive 5.5:1, ensuring you have maximum fish pulling power.
The handle of the reel is covered in Duplon to give additional grip. The reel comes supplied with two aluminium spools as standard. These offer braid and monofilament spooling options, which ensures you can arrive at the bank with maximum versatility in your pocket.
