As carp anglers we seriously don’t experiment with colored baits enough. Often this is because we have invested in our chosen favorite recipe and there is then only a limited colour spectrum of hook baits avaliable.

Does colour matter? not always but there is definitely some days when one colour will out fish another. We have experienced this often on some Essex waters in recent years while zig rig fishing, black foam out fishing yellow, white pop ups catching more than colored pop ups, and so on.
