A new construction system, named Power Tip is used in this special rod. The top part is solid carbon and lower part in tubular graphite, all in a one-piece construction.
This technique allows Shimano to make an extreme tip action without compromise on the strength. Ideal for many different boat fishing situations.
A detachable butt reduces the transportation length and a super tough reel seat clamps the reel securely. Very robust heavy-duty guides are also fitted.
