Tight Lines
Tony Shepherd sent us this picture of a chunky 12lb Mirror. He finally landed the fish after a frustrating day of missed bites. Well done Tony, your persistence paid off!
Here’s Kray Bennett with a corking 20lb 4oz Mirror! The picture was sent in by his Dad Lee, who wrote… ‘Took my son Kray night fishing for the first time at Ashlyns lake in North Weald. His first fish of the evening was his PB and first 20lb 4oz mirror. He was over the moon as you can see.’
Here’s a picture we were sent in by Paul Lambert. Paul wrote… ‘Here’s a nice Carp I had last week, it weighed in at 19lb 9oz and was landed on a Catcherbaits BS1 bottom bait. I was well happy!’
Here’s Jason Snitch with a stunning looking Koi Carp, which was landed from his syndicate water in Peterborough! Even though it’s not the biggest, it’s certainly one the of best looking we’ve seen in a while!
Here’s a couple of entries which were submitted on Facebook by Carl French. The first is this lovely Common Carp and the second is the awesome sunrise! As we said it’s a picture of the month competition, so all scenery shots are welcome, especially when they are as stunning as this!
This awesome scenic shot was taken by Simon Naylor, while he was fishing at Dovecot Lakes in Bedford. Superb picture Simon! We love seeing pictures like this and that’s why we call it a picture of the month competition rather than a catch of the month competition!
Here’s Ryan Mitchinson with a lovely Mirror. The fished weighed in at 30lb on the dot and was landed from the Crown in Netherall Fishery. Cracking picture Ryan, thanks for sending it in!
Here’s 10 year old Ethan Hodgson with a nice Carp, which he landed on the last cast of his most session! The picture was sent in by his fishing buddy Terry Carney who wrote… ‘Ethans only started fishing with me last year, but now all he talks about is fishing! He now sets up, hooks bait, casts out and lands his own fish!’ Great stuff Terry, it’s great to see them ‘hooked’ at such a young age! 
Here’s Travis Robertson with a couple of awesome Perch he landed down his local River Thames at Sonning. The fish were landed on Roach baits. Well done Travis! A couple of crackers there, always love to see large Perch, they have to be one of the most impressive fish!
Here’s a set of three awesome pictures we were sent by Nikki Leiba. The Carp weighed in at a mammoth 43lb 3oz and was a new PB, the other two pictures are awesome scenery shots, which were taken on his recent trip to France! Great pictures Nikki, thanks for sending them in!
