Whatever you have planned for the weekend of July 2nd and 3rd, cancel it and stick Carp In The Park on your planners, calendars and diaries. The huge event, now in its second year, is the first of its kind – an outdoor, festival-type show that has so much more than the usual carp shows on offer. As well as stands from the biggest names in carp fishing, live bands on Saturday evening, loads of on-site attractions in the park itself and a fully licensed bar, the organisers have now confirmed and amazing line-up of star-studded slide shows, which reads like a who’s who of carp fishing: Terry Hearn, Dave Lane, Adam Penning, Oz Holness, Iain MacMillan and Terry Dempsey will all be on stage documenting their amazing carp fishing achievements in a line-up the likes of which has probably never been matched.

You can visit for a single day, both days, or even stay overnight and enjoy the social, with many of the big names from the carp fishing scene sure to be milling around the bar and soaking up the evening’s entertainment. What’s more, there’s enough to keep the missus and kids occupied on site, so why not make it a family trip? This really does look set to be a terrific event that’s not to be missed, and we hope to see you all there.
