Carp In The Park 2017

Now in its third year, Carp In The Park is fast approaching and everything points to a bigger, better event than ever before.

A new type of carp show, Carp In The Park combines tackle, talks and demos with a music festival feel - big screen slide shows and a live band. There are more than 50 top carp brands exhibiting – many of them will be on sale at great pieces – and a host of the biggest names in carp fishing will be there.

The event takes place at Northampton’s Billing Aquadrome in the heart of the Midlands. It’s a fully equipped holiday park with camping and amusements on site and it even has a real carp fishing heritage – at one time it had produced the second largest carp in the UK record books.

Add in the on-site bars, shops and catering outlets, spice them up with a slide show line-up that includes Alan Blair, Adam Penning, Laney and Team England Carp boss Rob Hughes and you have the recipe for an event you just daren’t miss.

You can visit for a single day, both days, or even stay overnight and enjoy the social, with many of the big names from the carp fishing scene sure to be milling around the bar and soaking up the evening’s entertainment. What’s more, there’s enough to keep the missus and kids occupied on site, so why not make it a family trip?

Price: Day tickets: On the day price £12 per person, weekend tickets £19. Accompanied U16s are free. For tickets visit www.carpinthepark.com.
