AD Swindon Grand Opening - 19th August
To mark the occasion, we will be joined by three of the finest carp anglers on these shores - Avid Carp consultant Ian Russell, Fox carp consultant Tom Maker and British champion, Carp Team England member and now Angling Direct Swindon Superstore Manager Kevin Hewitt.
So, if you’re in the area and need some advice on tackle or have any other angling questions, drop in to see them between 9am and 3pm. Ian will be in-store until 12pm, while Tom and Kevin - obviously! - until 3pm.
And if that isn’t enough to encourage you to come down, the first 200 customers get a free goodie bag containing treats from CC Moore, Daiwa, Korda and more.
So, what can you expect from the newest Angling Direct location? Well, with 4,500 sq ft of shop floor spread over two floors and over 6,800 product lines in-store, you can expect a lot, be it carp, coarse, fly, match, sea or specialist tackle you’re looking for.
The store is well laid-out, with 12 bivvies setup, allowing you to explore them inside and out to choose which best suits you, and a display of over 200 rods, because we know all true anglers like to handle their tackle to find out what feels good. It carries full ranges from all the leading fishing tackle brands and fresh bait - both maggots and casters.
The Angling Direct Swindon Superstore is a Shimano X-Store, which means its Shimano display is tailored for it by Shimano, making it easier to find what you’re looking for and compare products, as well as get information that will help you make an informed purchase. It’s also an official Mainline Baits Centre and Sticky Baits Centre, stocking the full range from both these leading bait producers.
And if you’re looking for bit of guidance or just a chat, the Angling Direct Swindon Superstore has got you covered. Along with Kevin, then are four other members of staff with expertise covering carp, coarse and match fishing who know loads about local venues and day-ticket venues across the country.
And if all that wasn’t enough, there’s plenty of free parking too.
