Help For Heroes Charity Match

This Saturday (12th of October) we are hosting a very special Help for Heroes charity fishing match, at the Bridge Pub Lakes in Lenwade.

The match will run from Friday to Sunday, but the main action will take place of Saturday, from 6pm, where there will be a BBQ, Raffle and lots of fishing banter. Raffle tickets can be purchased on the day, or from our Norwich shop and are £1 each with all proceeds going to Help For Heroes.

Raffle prizes have been donated from many of our suppliers and there are some fantastic angling products on offer.

I spoke to event organiser and Norwich shop manager Andy Flint, who had this to say...

'I feel and the Angling Direct team feel, that the Help For Heroes is an extremely worthy cause. Anyone who puts there lives on the line for our country deserves our absolute respect and this is why we want to raise some money for them.

A couple of our employees our also ex-service members and obviously this charity is extremely close to there hearts. '
