Specimen Fishing For Catfish & Carp

For this latest episode we took the camera's to Cobbleacre Lakes in Norfolk, this time ignoring the match lakes and focusing our attentions on there specimen lake, with large Carp and Catfish the target.

In a previous session we had enjoyed some fantastic action on the water and had landed both Carp and Cats to over 20lb and thought it was well worth a trip back, this time armed with the camera!

As Carp and Catfish are predominantly night feeders, Catfish especially, we decided to fish an overnighter, as we thought this would greatly increase our chances of landing one of the targets.

Arriving at the lake around 6.00pm we arranged our camp and set the traps, not quite knowing what to expect, we settled in for the evening and waited with great excitement...

Did the Catfish and Carp feed; did one of the lakes giant's grace our landing nets? Watch this latest 25 minute episode to find out!
