This is how it works:
Simply call up, place an order and head to the store to collect your tackle. However, the store itself is not open in its usual capacity, and you are only permitted to visit when utilising the Call + Collect service.
Once you have called and placed your order – take note of the product reference, as this will make the process easier – payment will be taken over the phone via card and you will arrange a pick up time with our in-store colleague.
When collecting your purchase, you will be asked for proof of ID and the card with which you made the payment - The transaction can only be completed by the card holder - no exceptions.

With face coverings now mandatory in shops and supermarkets, all customers and visitors must wear a face covering before entering and whilst inside our stores. This is a legal requirement in line with the UK Governments control measures in reducing the spread of COVID-19.
Children under the age of 11 and others with medical conditions are exempt from this requirement. Please speak to the store colleagues if you believe you fall within the exemption categories.

The lockdown in response to the COVID-19 outbreak has proved to be a challenge for everyone, we have had to adapt our service throughout with the introduction of Call + Collect and tailoring or operations towards greater output from our online store.
We also appreciate it has been difficult for you, our customers, and would like to thank you for your understanding and cooperation throughout this period. It has been a genuine pleasure to see you all back out on the bank since the easing of social distancing guidelines.
We are, however, returning to something closer to normality this week with all our stores reopening. We have worked tirelessly to ensure stock levels in store are ready for your return, and as always our helpful, expert staff will be on hand to advise you on your angling. The tackle shop is well and truly back.

Yes. Angling Direct’s delivery associates and partners have been advised to reduce contact with customers, this may include placing packages at the customer’s doorstep and stepping back. If an ID check is required, which is usually the case with Parcel Force, the driver will complete the check at a distance. They will not be handing over our hand-held devices to customers to capture electronic signatures. Drivers will instead log the first and last name of the person accepting the item, then put 'XP1' in the signature field, and we will record the geolocation of the delivery. This will apply to all deliveries that normally require a signature.
