Trakker is a company with a vast bivvy making heritage, and the SLX V2 Bivvy System is a worthy addition to its world class list. Designed with the modern carp angler in mind, Trakker has created an excellent bivvy that is packed with features to please. One of these key features is a storm peak, which is a brand new addition to the second version of the SLX bivvy. This protects the front door from any rain run off and channels the water safely down the sides of the bivvy. It also comes with a complete mosquito mesh front panel that can either be used alone to offer ventilation on a warm summer day or in conjunction with the normal front panel, so you can get full mosquito protection even when it’s raining. You also get all the usual door options with the Trakker SLX, which includes a mozzie mesh option, which keeps the system incredibly versatile.
If you don’t want the front panel then you can remove it entirely, transforming this bivvy into a brolly style system. This enables you to enjoy a panoramic view of your swim, keeping a close eye on your rods and the water, whilst still enjoying a bivvy-level of shelter from the worst of the elements. Conversely, for long sessions in the coldest months, this bivvy also comes supplied with a full winter wrap as standard. This not only makes with bivvy outstanding value for money, as most bivvies will ask you to purchase a separate winter wrap, but it also ensures that you are ready to hit the bank all year round. Summer or winter, this is a bivvy that is designed for much more than the fair-weather angler and it will last you throughout the seasons.
As you can see, the Trakker SLX V2 is a highly versatile bivvy system. T-pegs and a full interlocking frame support ensures that this bivvy isn’t going anywhere in high winds and they provide structural support to the bivvy. It also comes supplied with a full heavy duty groundsheet, which helps to prevent damp incursion from the ground. This bivvy is available in either a one-man or two-man version. The one-man option is perfect for the angler who likes to keep mobile on the bank. The two-man option is ideal for the angler who has a regular angling companion or for the angler who likes to take a little extra equipment down to the bank, in order to ensure that they are prepared for all eventualities.
The one-man version of this bivvy only weighs 8.5kg (add an additional 3kg when groundsheet and pegs are included), and the two-man is only 1kg more. When packed the one-man bivvy offers a compact package and its dimensions are approximately 90cm x 30cm x 30cm, and the two-man is only 95cm x 35cm x 35cm. This makes it very easy to transport, store, and it won’t take up excessive space that you could use for vital tackle. It comes in its own specialised carry bag, too, so you can simply sling this bivvy onto your barrow and you’re good to go!
When fully opened, the one-man SLX V2 offers ample space. 2.8m width x 2.3m depth x 1.3m height ensures this bivvy is very roomy inside. If you do enjoy sharing with a friend, or maybe you need a little extra room, the two-man dimensions are as follows: 3.05m width x 2.5m depth x 1.4m height. Return of goods & Refunds
