Description

Trakker Tempest Composite Utility Front

Trakker is brand that is committed to ensuring that its anglers have tonnes of options when they are down at the bank. As part of this, the brand is not only dedicated to bringing out revolutionary new products but it also enjoys bringing out nifty add-ons to current product ranges in order to ensure that you’re able to modify existing Trakker products to suit your needs on the bank. This is why the brand has manufactured this brand new range of Tempest Utility Fronts. The Tempest range of bivvies and brollies is one of the most popular ranges that the brand has produced in recent years – and it isn’t hard to see why! Now, with the Tempest Utility Fronts, this impressive range of bivvies and brollies has just got better. This is the Trakker Tempest Composite Utility Front which, as the name suggests, is completely compatible with the Tempest Composite Bivvy system.

The first thing that you’ll notice about this front is that it gives you loads of extra space inside your bivvy. How you use this space is completely up to you and the options stretch as far as your imagination. Among the most popular in the Trakker team are using the new front section for working space. It is more than large enough to accommodate a small day chair, a guest chair, your cooking equipment, and any wet gear (such as your waders) that you want to store under shelter without taking up vital room inside your bivvy itself. By keeping the front panel of the bivvy in place, you can essentially give yourself a multi-compartmental bivvy system, with a rear sleeping compartment and a front ‘utility’ work space. Conversely, by removing the front panel of your bivvy you can give yourself an ultra-long and ultra-spacious bivvy system, transforming your one man Composite into a two man shelter. Simply lay your bedchairs vertically along either side of your bivvy, leaving you with ample space in the middle and along the back of your bivvy for the storage of all your gear. This is the perfect solution for when a friend or family member wants to join you at the bank, whether you’re showing your children the ropes or you’re headed to the continent for a longer carp fishing session with an angling friend. You can also forgo the additional bedchair, leaving you with a huge side storage strip for your longer solo angling sessions – no matter your style of angling the Trakker Tempest Composite Utility Front has the ability to revolutionise your time on the bank.

This accessory attaches in the much the same way as the Trakker Insect Panel. Simply attach two of the clips to the poles either side of the central boss and then attach a further clip onto each of the two side poles of the bivvy. The front features an elasticated gator, which allows you to create a good seal, and this pegs down at either side to create the shroud around the bivvy. All you need to do next is to peg out the front of the shelter, connect up the structural front rib, attach the tension strap, and attach the internal supporting struts to the roof of the Utility Front. It really is that simple! Deconstruction is just as simple, but it is important to remember to twist the slips from the bars, rather than simply pulling them free.

This wouldn’t be a Trakker product without all the additional features which really make it stand out from the crowd. The front is fitted with twin Velcro rod straps and you can find a dedicated insect panel on the front door – simply unzip the solid infill to reveal this. The door itself is opened via the use of heavy duty zips and it can be used in the letter box manner for those especially inclement days. Available to purchase separately, this product also has its own dedicated groundsheet. This has been modified with internal pegging points, to allow you to peg out your bivvy as normal. The Trakker team really have thought of everything with this Tempest Composite Utility Front.
