Wychwood Truefly SLA Fly Reel
Wychwood has removed all the unnecessary extras in the design of this cassette-style reel in order to ensure that the Truefly SLA is as lightweight as possible. Constructed from die-cast aluminium, this fly reel is featherweight without loosing any of the necessary strength.
In fact, this reel has the largest arbor in its price range, despite also being the lightest in its price range. This extra-large arbor ensures excellent rapid retrieve – which in short means that you have to do less work to get more line. The large arbor also significantly reduces the risk of tangles, as you’re able to get much large coils of line coming off the reel. Wychwood was determined that, in the design of this reel, functionality would not be sacrificed in favour of weight. This is a promise the brand have come true and, despite being ultra-light, the Truefly reel has a superb performance record.
Everything about this reel is unique, from the dot alignment cassette spool fixing to the bespoke semi-concealed Rulon disc drag and hidden counter balance system. This means that you’re not going to be able to find another reel quite like the Truefly SLA. Supplied with two spare polycarbonate cassette spools as standard, this reel can hold up to 100 yards of line – ample to suit even the most far-casting of fly anglers.

Return of goods & Refunds
