The handle on the Abu Garcia Ambassadeur Classic C3 has be redesigned, bringing it closer to the reel and ensuring that it is more ergonomic to use. In real terms this means that the power you put through the reel as you wind is transferred more directly to the reel rotor. This ensures that no power is wasted on unnecessary movement, ensuring minimum expenditure of energy for maximum effect.
This Abu Garcia Ambassadeur Classic C3 has been fitted with a six pin centrifugal braking system. This ensures that you are able to achieve maximum distance on your casts whilst still retaining full control over them. The six pin system means you can modify the braking with each use, for those anglers who favour precision. For the retrieve, this reel features Abu Garcia’s carbon matrix drag – one of strongest drag systems in the world – and the reel boasts a retrieve rate of 5.3:1. Pair this with the three plus one ball bearings and you’ve got yourself a smooth and powerful opponent to even the most aggressive of fish.
This is an incredibly lightweight reel, at only 10.7oz (approximately 300g), so it will balance perfectly on any number of top quality rods.
