Description

Daiwa Theory Specialist 12FT 1.5LB Rod

The Daiwa Theory series is able to offer top quality technology and high class performance at a mid-range price point making them the ideal rods for the angler looking to further develop their skills, as well as perfect for the angler who wants to invest in their first top quality bit of kit. This Specialist Rod has, as the name suggests, been designed with specialist fishing in mind. At 12ft in length this rod is able to perform well on a number of swims up and down the country and it can be considered a very versatile machine. Combine this with its 1.5lb test curve and you have yourself an excellent piece of specialist fishing equipment that will see you through many years on the bank.

Supplied with a 2oz full white carbon quiver tip this rod is a mixed species performer. Able to transform as a feeder or a float rod when the need arises, this is a highly versatile bankside companion that is perfect for a number of angling scenarios. As with all the Theory Rods, one of the first things you’ll notice about the Daiwa Theory Specialist Rod is just how incredibly slim the blank is. This slim profile is what allows this rod to be so fantastically versatile, in many ways, and it is as comfortable bomb fishing as it is fishing with a heavy float.

The Daiwa Theory Specialist has been fitted with a cork look EVA down-locking fore grip, as well as a handle constructed from the same material. This gives you all the visual benefits of cork whilst also offering you the practical and technological benefits of EVA. This is the best of both worlds and ensures that you don’t have to compromise in any way. SiC guides ensures that your line can glide though for easy casting and pickup, too. The rod has been finished with a matt low glare micro pitch, so you’ll look as good as you feel on the bank with this Specialist Theory Rod.
