The Team Daiwa Z series have all been designed with anglers in mind. This means that the Daiwa technologists have looked at the physiques and casting styles of thousands of anglers, in order to create a rod series that works effectively across the range of anglers and is suitable for a variety of disciplines. When you pick up a Team Daiwa Z it will just feel ‘right’ in your hand for an indescribable reason – this is the result of this intensive research. Daiwa has also noticed that there has been a growing trend towards creating stiffer and stiffer rods, in order to get those fantastic casting distances. However, whilst this might be an appropriate move for carp fishing distance casting rods, a stiffer rod requires a lot more effort on the cast. This means it is wholly unsuited to beach fishing, a discipline that requires significantly more physical input. An angler exhausted from casting is never going to have the strength to pull in a fish through rough or snaggy ground. These Daiwa rods have resolved this by creating a softer rod that allows power to build organically, making surf casting a pleasure. The bottom section of the rod offers the kind of stiffness you require, whilst the top section is softer to allow the progression of power. This flexible tip also helps with bite detection, enabling you to react quicker to takes and ensuring you get a positive hookset each time.
The rod blanks are supplied in equal sections, for ease of transportation, and are available in multiple sizes. The 12ft 6” and 13ft 6” rods in the Multiplier style are perfect for match fishing whilst the 13ft 6” Rough Ground rod is ideal for fishing the North Eastern and South Western coastlines.

Return of goods & Refunds
