Constructed from a Zaion body and side cover, the Daiwa Ballistic EX is not only lightweight but also completely corrosion resistant. This ensures that this reel will outlast your on the bank. The Air Rotor system also distributes pressure in the rotor more evenly than any other rotor system, ensuring that the rotor doesn’t suffer from unnecessary tension in vital areas.
The Ballistic EX also features Digigear technology. This is a unique machining process which ensures that the gears mesh perfectly together each time. This gives you smooth torque that is simply unbeatable. The reel features no fewer than 10 ball bearings. One of these is a special corrosion resistant ball bearing, one of these is a roller bearing, and the final eight are Daiwa’s own ball bearings. These ball bearings ensure that this reel is exceptionally smooth to use.
