Not only this, but there is also a spod rod in the six rod range. Spodding is one of the most popular baiting tactics, especially for carp anglers who like to target huge venues. This spod rod has an impressive 4.5lb test curve, ensuring it has more than enough backbone to cast out heavy fully loaded spods to the farthest features.
Although these are mid-priced rods many of the features on them would happily go unnoticed on a rod of twice its price. The profile on the Emcast Carp is more commonly seen on top end Daiwa rods and the matt low-glare finish harks back to the impressive DF range from the brand. The handle on the rod is abbreviated and shrunk wrapped. The butt guide is 50mm, like all the best distance casting carp rods, and the rod has also been fitted with a premier Fuji DPS reel seat.
