Daiwa Specialist Light Lure Rods
If you’re a specialist fishing fan who enjoys tackling fish on the smaller end of the spectrum then this could be the ideal rod for you. Designed, as the name suggests, for all manner of light lure work, these Specialist Light Lure Rods feature all the kinds of technological advantages and quality of manufacture that you will have come to expect from a top end Daiwa rod.
The blanks on the Daiwa Specialist Light Lure Rods are constructed from premium grade carbon. This ensures that they are hardwearing and durable, as well as being able to offer you the perfect harmony between lure casting ability and fish playing manoeuvrability. The blanks on these rods are also ultra-thin, which gives you all the sensitivity you require when you’re tackling the smaller predators in the UK’s waters. Daiwa has even supplied spliced-in solid carbon tips with the two dropshot models available, further increasing the sensitivity of these rods. The guides on the Daiwa Specialist Light Lure Rods are equally high in quality. These guides have been purpose built for use with thin braided mainlines and are ceramic in their construction.
There are five different models in the Specialist Light Lure series, two of which (as previously mentioned) are dropshot rods. These are available in 6ft 6” and 7ft lengths, making them ideal for all manner of canal work, as well as being perfect for all manner of other dropshot situations. There are also small plugger, crazy cranker, and shad caster versions of the rod series. Both the small plugger and the shad caster come as a 7ft rod. The crazy cranker is the longest rod in the bunch and comes in at 8ft. As you can see, no matter what type of water you target or what method you use, there is always a Specialist Light Lure Rod for you.
