It is manufactured from durable fibreglass poles and by releasing the Easy Shelter from its packaging it immediately springs into the ideal shape. You can then lift and place this over your bedchair or you can peg it down to the ground and wheel in your barrow and day chair, should you be using it as a day session shelter rather than for an overnighter. The shelter is supplied with three tensioning poles which fit between the two ribs of the shelter. Two of these fit on the side of the shelter and the third is on the top. This final rib fits right through to the storm peak of the shelter, which gives you that little additional support that the bivvy requires to prevent it from sagging.
Another great feature is the triple toggle points on the door. These are incredibly useful, as they allow you to pin your door back in three ways, and by pegging your open door outwards slightly you can give yourself vital additional room in your bivvy. This is ideal if you’re cooking in the shelter and you want a bit of extra space. The door of the bivvy is dual zipped, too. This allows you to use it in a letterbox manner, keeping you protected from the elements whilst also affording you a panoramic view of your swim. The storm sides can then be pegged out, giving you all the shelter you could require for a shorter session. The bivvy has a footprint of 230cm x 130cm. This ensures that it is compact enough to fit into the smallest swims up and down the country, and its camouflage finish means that its really does blend into the background. This footprint is also large enough to ensure that it can comfortably accommodate most standard sized bedchairs.
