Nash Zig Bugs Purple Bugs, The potential of purple was first picked up by NashBaits Gary Bayes after producing a purple version of the legendary Monster Squid. When put in front of spooky carp purple boilies were instantly accepted where more traditional bait colours resulted in caution. Tied to sticky sharp, ultra strong Nash Fang X hooks, these purple bug imitations are the sure fire choice to get a bite when other tactics fail. Caterpillar: As carp continually search the margins for food, terrestrial caterpillars which have dropped or blown into the water, can be a very natural food source. Testing shows carp love purple caterpillars even more! Stonefly Nymph: This purple version takes the attraction of the renowned Stonefly Nymph one step further, with streamlined body and dangly legs exaggerating movement for an aggressive feeding response. Beetle: We arent aware of a natural purple water beetle, but in common with all the purple bugs in the final range, extensive testing showed the carp homed in on these time and time again.
