The French brand has been manufacturing top end seat boxes for many decades, supplying continental anglers with comfortable seating solutions for years. However, until relatively recently, it has been difficult to source the brand in the UK. Rive is now finally available for the UK angler to enjoy and its premier quality seat boxes look set to revolutionise match fishing here on the British Isles.
This Rive ST8 HSP D36 Seatbox Complete Including Wheel Kit is the perfect seat box for the angler who has a lot of gear, but who also doesn’t want to add a barrow to the rest of their tackle in order to transport it all down to the bank. This seat box combines a seat box with a barrow system, making transportation down to the bank easier than ever before.
The Rive ST8 HSP D36 Seatbox Complete Including Wheel Kit boasts a full aluminium frame. This ensures that this mammoth seat box is surprisingly lightweight, even once you’ll fully loaded it up with all the gear that you could need for your match. Aluminium also ensures that this seat box is incredibly durable and, if it is properly looked after, this Rive seat box can last a lifetime on the bank. The frame is fitted with four telescopic legs, to allow you to achieve the perfect height on the bank, and two fixed legs, to provide additional structural support. These are both 36mm in diameter, ensuring that they are robust enough to support the weight of any angler, even on uneven surfaces. As an added benefit, and as the name of the product suggests, the seat box operates on a HSP system. This is the name that Rive gives to the four legs which attach to the footplate, allowing the angler to remove a leg whilst the box is in situ. This features two quarter-turn locks, offering four positions for the footplate and allowing you to modify your seat box to perfectly suit your needs on the bank.
The Rive ST8 HSP D36 Seatbox Complete is fitted with a ‘seamless’ seat cushion. This is an ultra-padded cushion which has been designed with your complete comfort in mind and it ensures that you’re able to spend hours on the bank focussing on the thing that matters – your match fishing. The seat also boats a fixed pole heel, giving you the perfect place to rest your pole whilst you unhook your fish. A foam pole holder and a deluxe pole bracket help to support your pole whilst its fully extended too, once again allowing for hands free on-box action and enabling you to construct a range of rigs whilst on the bank. Directly means the seat you’ll find a 30mm side drawer. This is the perfect place to store a range of terminal tackle items, such as rig bits and accessories, that you might want to have directly to hand on the bank. The Rive ST8 HSP D36 Seatbox Complete also features a 30mm deep tray, which you’ll find fixed to the frame. This provides the perfect surface on which you can construct your rigs and create your bait mixes. The tray is 420mm x 380mm, ensuring that you have plenty of room for all your rig construction.
The trolley unit of the Rive ST8 HSP D36 Seatbox Complete comes supplied as standard. This makes it incredibly easy to transport your box to and from the bank, allowing you to take a huge amount of gear down to the water with ease.
