Designed by the Sonik team, this rod is a versatile performer that operates on cutting edge technology and can be used across the Specialist fishing discipline. The S3 boasts a light and balanced rod blank that is constructed from a multi-modulus carbon fibre. This allows the rod to offer the kind of progressive action that is essential for cushioning and controlling the powerful lunges of an aggressive fish without risking hook pulls – even at close quarters.
There are four rod options in the range, each which is able to offer a slightly different configuration to please anglers across the discipline. The first rod on offer is a single tip rod. 12ft in length and with a 1.5lb test curve, this single rod is ideal for surface fishing for carp, as well as a great option when you’re tackling tench and bream too. There are two twin-top options in the range. Both of these 12ft rods come with a standard avon tip, as well as an additional quiver tip. This quiver tip accepts three push in quivers and these rods have 1.75lb and 2.25lb test curves respectively. The final rod option in the range is the ultimate all-rounder. A tri-tip rod, this Sonik S3 has three separately rates avon style tips. 1.5lb, 1.75lb, and 2lb tip options mean that you can use this rod effectively for a number of different coarse fishing styles. This rod is the perfect option for the angler who likes to play around with their fishing.
Finished with low profile SiC guides and a screw winch reel seat, this rod will allow for a good movement of line and can be used effectively on still venues and well as running waters.
