Century MFF Marker Feature Finder Fishing Rod,
Any dedicated carp angler knows that feature finding is one of the most important aspects of any carp fishingsession. This is particularly true if you find yourself on a new venue, peering out over unknown waters. Whether the lake bed is made of gravel or silt, whether it is a steady plateau or riddles with peaks and troughs, whether there are any hidden weed beds – all of this determines your line choice and terminal tacklesetup. Without knowing the topography of the lake bed you’re never going to be able to enjoy a consistently successful session – even if you do manage to strike it lucky! This is why a dedicated marker and feature finder rod is an essential component in your carp rodcollection.
This CenturyMFF is the perfect rod for the job whenever you find yourself stood on a new swim. A highly sensitive rod, the Century MFF allows you to scope out features quickly and accurately, ensuring you can get stuck into your fishing quickly. The rod allows you to simultaneously feel for vibrations through the blank as well as watching the reaction of the tip. Using the Century MFF makes distinguishing between mud, silt, or gravel easy. The Century MFF has been fitted with 3MM tape around the tip section. This ensures that the tip is conspicuous even in low light levels, enabling you to accurately read its movements. Bright orange tyings under the tip guide and following two intermediate guides also aid with tip visibility.
The rod is rated to 3.5lb and offers an enhanced J-curve action. This allows you to hit out marker floats with precision, even at long ranges. The butt section of the rod boasts graduated markings, so you can accurately record the distances you cast to and you’re able to cast with exacting precision each time.
