The frame of these Fantail glasses is built with Costa’s go-to TR90 nylon material. Exceptionally strong and extremely lightweight, these glasses are hardwearing and can withstand the harshest angling environments. Built by hand and backed up by Costa’s lifetime warranty, the Fantails come with their own dedicated hard case which is supplied as standard. This means that you can safely and securely store these glasses in your luggage in order to ensure that you’re always ready whenever you hit the bank.
There are five different lens and frame options available in the Fantail range. This ensures that no matter which discipline you prefer there are always a pair of Fantail glasses for you. Freshwater or saltwater, bright light or variable light, there are Costa del Mar Fantail glasses suitable for all angling occasions. The copper and grey lenses (supplied in tortoise and black frames respectively) are ideal for all your carp fishing needs, as well as being ideal for freshwater predator fishing. This is because both lenses operate well in variable light conditions and are perfect for those ‘overcast but bright’ days that we in the UK so often encounter. Both of these lenses are constructed from Costa’s lightweight and impact resistant plastic 580 material.
The remaining three lenses are designed with sea fishing in mind. There are two colour options available in this sea fishing range. The blue lens is ideal for offshore fishing, as it can cope with the brightest glare from the water, and it is supplied in a real-tree lens. There are two different green lenses available, one of which is manufactured from the same 580 plastic that the blue, copper, and grey lenses are made from. This is supplied in a blackout frame. The other green lens option is for the passionate beach angler and is constructed from 580 glass and is supplied in a silver frame. This glass lens is lighter than any other like-for-like glass lens on the market and it boasts encapsulated mirrors to deliver superior contrast and colour.
