Daiwa has further improved on this incredible technology by creating its very own Mag Sealed ball bearings. This brand new ball bearing can be found in the line roller, as well as on both sides of the drive gear. This further increases the water resistance on the reel and vastly improves long term reel performance as it eliminates the opportunity for corrosive substances – such as salt or grit that can be found dissolved in water – from damaging the vital moving elements of the reel.
