Guruhas been producing outstanding terminal tackle since 2009 and this Method Hair Rig showcases some of its finest innovation to date. As with all Guru tackle, this Method Hair Rig has been purpose built and was designed with method feeder fishing for carp and coarse fish in mind. As such, every element of this hair rig has been optimised for method feeder fishing, from the length of the rig to the strength of the hook.
Guru is famous for working incredibly closely with a number of dedicated consultants operating at the peak of their angling careers. Together, after combining their own fishing knowledge with extensive field tests, they decided that a four inch ring was ideal for method feeder fishing, as it allowed the bait to be well presented among the other free bait that drops from the feeder.
When it came to choosing a hooklink for the line there was only one option. Developed by Alex Bones and Steve Ringer, N-Gauge is Guru’s premier quality hooklink. Strong enough to tackle a carp amidst a snaggy swim, yet supple enough to fool even the wariest big carp, N-Gauge utilises Japanese monofilament technology to perform superbly in a number of angling scenarios.
Similarly, the MWG hook was the only choice when it came to picking the perfect hook for the rig. Supremely strong and versatile, this hook has an extra wide gape and a beaked hook. This ensures that bites are converted to hook and that hooks are converted to landings – every time. The Guru Method Hair Rig has been finished with figure-of-eight loops to ensure extreme knot strength and features an innovative silicone tube to align the hair, ensuring perfect bait presentation and keeping the hook in the optimum position.
In hook sizes 10-16, each with their own optimised breaking strains, there is a Guru Method Feeder Rig for all method feeder anglers.
