The Rapala Countdown sling bag helps to make that commute from car to waters edge easy as it is designed not only to be comfortable but to keep your tackle and gear out of the way so your arms are free to carry your pre-made rods or other bags.
Similar to a backpack design, the sling bag goes over a singular shoulder and across your chest, keeping all your belongings safely attached to you. The design of the back makes it perfect for when fishing and on the move and travelling from peg to peg. Despite the security of having the bag strap across the torso, the sling bag is still an easy swing away when you need its contents.
For storage, the bag consists of an easy-access main pocket that also offers side entry on the top of the backpack. This compartment is sized to store two 3600-size tackle boxes (not included) which are perfect for anglers with a huge lure collection.
There are also internal pockets for smaller gear, a padded back pocket that accommodates laptops up to 13 inches and an expandable side pocket for a water bottle. The back padded pocket means that this bag can be used for more than just a session of fishing but as an everyday bag. If that was not enough, there is also a top pocket for additional necessities such as your wallet or keys. Accessing the main pocket is made easy but secure with the quick-draw plier holster and quick-release buckle. Other pockets use YKK zippers.
For larger items such as carrying rodsor landing nets, the bag features an external daisy chain with removable hook and loop straps. To ensure your shoulder is not aching from the weight of all the contents, Rapala has fitted it with a 3D mesh padded shoulder strap. This strap also sports a zipped pocket for your mobile phone!
