Here at Angling Direct, we could not be happier with the recognition of the benefits angling has on mental health and the great work Tackling Minds are doing to support anglers and non-anglers suffering from anxiety and depression in the UK.
What is Tackling Minds?
The goal of Tackle Minds is to get people from all walks of life interested in fishing. Whether it's mental health, social deprivation, addictions, disabilities, families or long-term health.
The charity caters to all levels of angler, it doesn't matter if you're a beginner, or if you plan on fishing competitively, we have something for everybody. The Tackling Minds team just want to show people that fishing is not a sport, it's a way of life!
Since the birth of Tackling Minds in October 2020, things have gone from strength to strength and the need for further volunteers and funding has become key to keeping up the momentum and helping to support the ongoing work by David (founder) and his team.

Having previously supported Tackling Minds with their work in the industry, donating items of tackle and Team AD Coaches to two Wellbeing Open Days, we are very happy to be helping out again, stocking a selection of Tackling Minds T-shirts
