The Restbite bedchair took the angling world by storm when Avid Carp first released it, and the Restbite X has been no different. The larger cousin of the original Restbite chair, the Restbite X offers substantial space, and has a frame length of 6ft 11” and a width of 28”.
This means even the longest limbed anglers can have a comfortable nights sleep. Despite the significant increase in size, the weight difference between the original Restbite and the Restbite X is negligible, the latter coming in at only 12kg.
Until the Restbite X was release anglers, especially those anglers with a larger frame, struggled to sleep on the bank – with many having to make do with clumsy imitations of beds. The Restbite X allows the angler to sleep in ultimate comfort. With a memory foam mattress fitted as standard, this bed reaches new heights of angling luxury. You’ll even find it more comfortable than your bed at home!
However, what really makes the Restbite X unique is it offers a completely flat surface for you to sleep on. Traditional bedchairs feature a ratchet that allows the top area of the bed to be raised so the bed can be folded down for easy transport. This ratchet interrupted the lie of the bed and created an uneven surface around the head end.
This in turn led to many anglers suffering stiff necks and back backs – as you can imagine fishing adequately with a bad back is almost impossible. The Restbite X still features this ratchet, however Avid Carp has moved the ratchet so it no longer interrupts the level of the bed.
Where traditional beds made for an uncomfortable night and following day, the Restbite X is pure luxury. In fact, the only problem you’ll experience is that you won’t want to leave it when the time comes to start the next day’s fishing!

Return of goods & Refunds
