Daiwa Spectron 1720 Match, HVF; high volume fibre has allowed our design team to create a remarkable new Spectron range that will serve both commercial and wild water angler. The line-up begins with equal section two pellet waggler specials at 11 and 12 offering a punchy casting action but compress along their length to deliver cushion and control. For open water float work the 13 and 13 Power will provide distance and rapid line pick up. For river work the 13/15 and longer 17/20 will give you all the control required especially on deeper water. As feeder dominates on most commercials the quartet of combo tip rods is certain to offer everything required. Designed with three ultra-light carbon tips each and slim top sections the feel and responsiveness of these rods is fabulous. The 9/10 beauty will suit light feeder and bomb work. The likely more popular 10/11 will deliver on many fronts offering pinpoint accuracy or distance when required. For bigger chucks and heavier set ups there are two 12/13 options. Both the Medium and Power are rated up to 10lb mainlines however it is the Power with the higher loading point and ability to hit the big distances.
