Penn Surfblaster 8000 Reel
Often described as the Rolls Royce of sea fishing reels, thanks to its smooth performance and incredible durability, the Penn Surfblaster 8000 has been designed with distance surf casting in mind. The long stroke spool is forged aluminium, meaning it is hard wearing and lightweight, as well as offering the ability to cast incredible distances. Its distance casting ability is aided by its automatic bail arm and slow oscillation, ensuring a perfect line lay each time. The reel has a quick turn drag system which is easily adjustable and, featuring a gear ratio of 4.1:1, this reel has unbelievable winding power with a retrieval rate of around 1m for each turn of the machined aluminium handle.
The Surfblaster 8000 is known for being one of the smoothest performing sea reels on the market. This is thanks to the inclusion of 7 + 1 stainless steel ball bearings. These ball bearings significantly reduce the friction between the moving parts of the reel, which has benefits that are two fold. Firstly, this ensures that the reel operates smoothly with each use. Secondly, the reduction in friction also equates to a reduction in wear, which in turn extends the lifespan of the reel itself. One of the biggest problems that sea fishing tackle manufacturers face is the highly corrosive nature of saltwater, which significantly shortens the lifespan of any piece of equipment that it comes into contact with. Penn has counteracted this by ensuring that its reel is fully salt water resistant, so this reel should last just as long as any freshwater reel with like for like usage.

Return of goods & Refunds
