Preston Celsius Thermal Suit
If you’re a Preston angler then you won’t be the kind of person who lets a little cold weather get in the way of your coarse and match angling. However, unless you’re really tough as nails you’ll probably concede that on those bitterly cold days you’ll need a little more than your standard angling clothing to get you through. This is where the Preston Celsius Thermal Suit comes into play. Rated to a waterproof level of 10,000mm – the same a most high end floatation suits – this Preston Celsius Thermal Suit is guaranteed to keep you dry on even the gloomiest of rainy days.
As you’d expect the suit is fitted with a number of modifications to ensure that you stay dry as a bone. The storm peak on the hood of the jacket has been purpose designed to prevent the rain from disrupting your vision. The cuffs of the jacket are Velcro adjustable storm cuffs, preventing rain from running up your arm each time you raise your hand, and all the zips on both the jacket and the bib ‘n’ brace are storm sealed to prevent water encroaching.
However, where the suit really comes into its own is when you take into account its thermal properties. The entirety of the Preston Celsius Thermal Suit benefits from hollofil lining. This has been purpose designed to trap your body heat close to you body, preventing it from escaping and cooling, without impeding your movement in any way. Thanks to the highly thermal nature of this lining, unlike other thermal wear you don’t have to wear excessive layers underneath your thermal clothing. In fact, on the coldest days only a simple base layer will more the do the job of keeping you warm when you’re wearing the Celsius Thermal Suit. If this lining wasn’t enough, the suit is also fitted with a high fleece lined neck, to prevent draughts, and fleece lined pockets, too.
