Shimano Biomaster XTB, The new Biomaster XT-B features the unique Shimano Baitrunner spool II which switches from free spool to pre-set drag effortlessly making it perfect for carp and specimen anglers. The 8000 size is a good mid-sized compromise and the Cold Forged spool holds a huge amount of line (0.40mm-320m) making it a serious model for distance anglers, especially for anglers who "row out" baits. 3 shielded stainless steel bearings plus a roller bearing and an easy maintenance port for simple lubrication, deliver smooth assured performance when playing large fish or retrieving at speed. Fitted with Aero Wrap II, 2 speed oscillation and AR-C spool, the casting performance is excellent, making the Biomaster XT-B the perfect partner for medium test curve specimen rods.
