Featuring six shielded A-RB ball bearings, this reel has been manufactured to last, and the ball bearings help protect the reel in case of intrusion by salt water. This allows you to achieve those long distances casts when you to need to, as the angled spool lip reduces the amount of friction on the line during the cast, allowing you to cast further and with greater accuracy. Aero Wrap II ensures that you get superb line lay every time.
The BioMaster SW 8000PG has a 4.8:1 gear ratio, allowing you to retrieve almost 90cm of line for each handle turn. The handle knob is huge and incredibly chunky, allowing you to get the best possible grip for wrenching in those big saltwater species.
