Based on a continental floating design that allows for the mat to be floated on the water in order for the fish to be safely released, this mat is large enough to house the biggest continental carp safely and securely. The Olive Protection Mat has a heavy duty base that is fully padded with thick non-absorbent foam. This ensures that the weight of the mat is kept to a minimum after use, as well as ensuring that this product is quick to dry out on the bankside for easy pack-away after a long session. For ease of transport, this mat has two webbing carry handles and the whole mat collapses down to a quarter of the size. Its nylon carry bag is compact and has been fitted with Aero Quiver System attachments. This enables it to be quickly and easily attached to Shimano innovative Aero Quiver System strap, which comes supplied with the Olive Protection Mat. Shimano’s Aero Quiver System allows for anglers to completely customise the amount of tackle they take to the bank and is ideal for the angler who likes to travel light.
