Shimano Purist Rod Sling

Shimano Purist Rod Sling

The Shimano Purist Rod Sling is part of the fantastic Purist luggage range from Shimano. The Purist range takes traditional influences and contemporary technology to create fantastic luggage solutions which are not only innovative but also intuitive. This Purist Rod Sling definitely falls on the contemporary side of the Purist collection.

This completely adjustable system is instinctive to use as it enables you to transport rods between 9ft and 15ft in length. This makes it the ideal multi-tool transportation solution and is ideal for the angler who likes to travel light to the bank and who doesn’t want to be encumbered with bulky holdalls or unnecessary rod quivers. In many ways this is the perfect rod transportation solution for the specialist angler who likes to head down to the river for short two or three hour sessions.

Fitted with padded tip and butt protection, this Purist Rod Sling is also fitted with a generous reel protector which is able to comfortably shelter big pit reels whilst in storage or in transit. The Purist Rod Sling is also fitted with a lead pocket – to ensure your fully made up rod is not damaged during transit. The system is finished with a triangular Velcro rod lock system and comes supplied with an Aero Quiver System strap as standard.

The Aero Quiver System was designed with the angler who likes to travel light in mind. A simple strap with welded D-clip attachments that can accommodate any Aero Quiver System compatible tackle item, the revolutionary nature of this concept is in its simplicity. This Purist Rod Sleeve has been designed with the same ethos in mind. Unlike rod holdalls and even some quivers, this Rod Sling packs down super small when not in use, and it goes without saying that, thanks to power stitching throughout, this Rod Sling is highly durable and is built to the high Shimano standard of quality.
