Tell Me About It
The Century Excalibur rod range has been designed and developed using exclusive technology and high quality materials, to create a range of dynamic fishing tackle which performs to exemplary standards in challenging conditions.
Developed in conjunction with Danny Moeskops, a leading caster and angler, the TT was used by Danny Moeskops and Alessio Massa to take 1st and 2nd places in the 2012 World Casting Championships in Greece, which should stand as testament to the brilliant potential of this performance-designed rod.
With its gearbox design, the Century Excalibur TT Titanium K Guide Rod channels power and kinetic potential through every inch of the responsive carbon blank, maintaining energy and fluid feel through the advanced composite tip, allowing you to feel every second of your cast, and make instant, mid-cast adjustments to your timing or position, to ensure your presentations is flawless, every time.
Designed to reduce the tip weight, the TT retains power, whilst increasing responsiveness, handling, and feel for a rod that's the ultimate in comfort, yet still designed to deliver results.
The reel seat is supplied with a pair of coasters, which allows a multiplier reel to be easily fitted, giving you extra performance and power on challenging saltwater venues, and for all extreme angling.
The Century Excalibur TT is finished to a high standard, with marine grade stainless steel etched trim, Japanese rubber separaters on the lower tip and upper butt, and a sleek, stylish finish of metallic and royal blue that will look good whatever your casting style.
The Excalibur TT is a 14ft 10” rod with a 3lb casting weight.
What Discipline Is It For?
A beach casting rod that's designed for sea fishing from the shore or pier.
Why Should I Buy It?
Designed for performance, the Excalibur TT is the ideal rod for strong tides and snaggy shores, giving you the kinetic force needed to take your cast our futher, and the weight-handling capability to cope with strong waters and tough conditions.
The 3lb casting weight also makes this saltwater rod a good option if you're sending out heavy feeders, or targeting larger carp on Continental venues, as its power-packing punch and crafted resilience will be more than a match for the demands found on the extreme edge of carp fishing.
Everything about the Excalibur rod range is designed to equip the modern saltwater angler with a performance potential that transfers seamlessly to other disciplines, making this the only rod you'll ever need, no matter how versatile you like to keep your fishing.
As sea fishing often involves being out in the very early hours, or after dusk, the 3m reflective strip between the top two guides really does come in handy, ensuring you're able to set your rod up quickly, and keep it perfectly alligned, even in very low light.
