In an ideal world, there would never be much wind and wed always be able to see our floats easily at distance. In truth, of course, conditions are usually very different!
In sample trials, working with some exceptionally good River Trent anglers, we found that the answer was to do exactly the same as we do with bolo floats and by using thicker hollow inserts, the float tips were much easier to see.
