JW Young Super Lightweight Reel
JW Young Centrepin reels are carefully assembled by skilled engineers in our workshops in Tewkesbury from British-made components. Each reel is rigorously tested and inspected before being given its signed certificate of authenticity that each, individually serial numbered reel is given.
With the 2080SL Jim Young has shaved even more weight of the BJ reels to make them lighter than ever. Bigger holes in the rims, revised cut-outs in the back plate and narrower bars on the arbour reduces the weight and make the reels aesthetically more pleasing. They also run even more freely than ever. Each reel is individually numbered and comes complete with certificate of authenticity.
