Maver Darkside Series 1 Pole Package, Introducing a completely new range of high tensile carbon poles. The Darkside provides some unique innovation which includes our revolutionary 4MAT a super toughened epoxy resins. Our patented Nanolith multi-directional fibre technology is an industry first. Only the highest grade of Japanese carbons are used in production. The fibres are bonded with our bespoke resins formulating in house factory produced carbon pre-pregs. The Series 1 has been designed as a truly all-round model aimed at rivers, lakes and canals, but showing its true colours when large commercial carp become the target. Our unique aerospace pre-pregs provides for a super stiff, lightweight and perfectly balanced pole with a very impressive wall strength. That being said, the overall strength does not compromise the perfect balance and overall rigidity. At 11.5m the pole weighs in at a very impressive 580g and at 13m (mini extension excluded) a featherweight 810g. Every section is finished with our unique and patented black Suncore, which incorporates a fine honey comb metal structure which is impregnated into the outer wall surface. Suncore provides even greater strength but is quite simply the best anti-friction surface available allowing the angler to ship at speed effortlessly in all weather conditions. Teflon joints have been applied to sections 3, 4, 5 and 6 eliminating carbon to carbon wear. Magic steps are present internally on both match and power kits, which provides the perfect free flow elastic system. The power kits are banded for additional strength and factory fitted with quality PTFE side slots for modern day side puller kits. Each tip is also fitted with internal PTFE bushes. All power kits include our innovative Fusion technology improving rigidity and tip speed substantially when larger elastics are fitted.
