Nash Monster Squid Purple Pop Ups,
We are all striving for that little edge that may help us put those bonus fish on the bank. Of course by simply using Nashbait you are already one step ahead of the opposition, but by using Nash boilie paste you can increase your advantage even more!
This paste has many uses, the easiest way is to take a pinch of paste from the tub and simply mould it around a boilie hookbait this paste will slowly break down releasing attractors around your hookbait.
You can also take it to another level if you take some paste and add a drop of matching food dip to the paste, knead this in making the paste softer, which will aid the break down, and as the paste is breaking down not only will it release all its usual attractors but the food dip will leak out and hang around the hookbait making it irresistible to the Carp!
Adding lake water to the paste will also achieve the same result but without the food dip leakage if you are after a more subtle approach.
If you are using a PVA bag approach, particularly with small hookbaits, rolling small balls of paste and adding them to your PVA bag, along with hookbait samples, gives the fish different shapes and textures of food to feed on making it difficult for the fish to identify your hookbait, as well as the extra attraction from the paste breaking down.
This paste can also be used to make cork ball pop-ups. Defrost the paste and knead it to make it nice and smooth. If the paste dries out too much during this time add some food dip to soften it. Once you are happy with the consistency take a pinch of paste and mould it around a cork ball. What you are aiming for is a thin, even layer of paste around the cork ball, rolling it between the palms of your hands is a good way to achieve this. Now you can boil the baits but only do a few at a time to keep a consistent water temperature. Leave the baits to cool and either freeze them, or air dry them until absolutely no moisture remains and store them in an air tight tub, a light smear of food dip helps to stop the skin cracking.
