Okuma Rockaway FD Reel

The Okuma Rockaway FD is a spinning reel design with a small, compact body that is equipped with 4BB + 1RB stainless steel bearing and a 5.3:1 gear ratio for great power and casting ability. This is paired with a long cast, two-tone anodized aluminium spool with 104cm of line pickup.

Okuma Rockaway Spinning Reel also features a Cyclonic Flow Rotor which creates a cyclonic airflow, which significantly increases ventilation around the rotor and allows for a much faster drying time if the reel becomes wet, minimizing corrosion possibilities throughout the reel.

Casting and retrieving is made accurate with the Even Flow Roller System which reduces line twists by freely rolling over the line roller without friction. This is also supported by the Rotor Equalizing System that produces precision balance and eliminates all spool wobble for perfect alignments and smooth cranking, perfect for lure fishing.

The spinning reel also sports Quick-Set Anti-Reverse that engages the reel in one direction for rock-solid hook sets. The Hydro Block is used to prevent water and foreign materials from entering the reel system, ensure the drag washers always perform at optimal levels.

If that was not enough, Okuma has fitted the Rockaway with a rigid metal handle design to reduce flex, and improve playing with fish.
